Time Sensitive Weight Loss

Time Sensitive Weight Loss

When it comes to weight loss, trying to do it quickly is almost impossible. The problem is that most things you want to lose weight for sneak up on you until it's too late to really start trying to hit that goal when it's only a month or two away. It's often frustrating because we know that we should have started sooner, but there's just so much else that needs to be done and our needs often take a backseat to those of our family's and friend's. This is especially true if you have children. Time is a commodity and unfortunately you always seem to need longer than you have to do something for yourself.

Although there are some exercise programs that you can do that don't take long each day or diets that don't require too much prep work, it can still be exhausting. Another issue is that you may find that once you hit your target weight with any of these extreme programs and relax a little, you gain all of that weight back. When you have a set amount of time to lose weight in this may be okay, but if you've put all that work in you're going to want it to last. Thankfully for you, CoolSculpting is the perfect cross section between both issues.

Not having any time for yourself is not an uncommon issue for people, but that’s why we have developed a procedure that can get results even on a tight schedule. We know how much everyone else relies on you, so we want to give you the chance to rely on someone else for a change. Let us help you get the body you’ve always wanted in no time at all. Our certified CoolSculpting technicians can help you figure out exactly what you want done when you come in for your consultation. Our procedure is so easy you can even do other things while you're in our office, so it's like you're not losing time at all. With all of these great benefits, it can be hard to believe how much of a difference we can make. Give us a call at 800-8THIN-YOU to see what we can do to help you, even if you don't have a long time before you need to look and feel great. We will help you find the thin that is in you!

Stomach

Stomach

What I am going to say in a moment may just shock you. Almost no one likes their stomach. I'm not sure that I know much of anyone who truly likes the way they look and the vast majority of people I speak to about it say that they wish they had flatter stomachs. With this being such a common wish, it can seem odd that there aren't more people exercising in gyms or running around in their neighborhoods. However, one of the biggest problems with stomachs is that they are notoriously difficult to lose weight from.

When you have extra fat in your stomach, you know it. Clothes start to fit differently, you feel different when you get out of the shower, and you definitely start to understand where the idea that the camera adds ten pounds comes from. It can be extremely frustrating to deal with extra weight and fat in an area that doesn't like to give it back up, but you shouldn't get too upset about it. There are some things that you can do to help get your stomach flat again. You can always try exercises such as sit ups and forms of cardio that work to burn a lot of calories. If these fail, or if you are short on time or otherwise unable to do these activities, we want to offer you another option.

Here at CoolSculpting by ThinSculpting, we know just how difficult it can be to juggle everything you need to in your life. You have a family, you probably have friends, you have your job, and any one of these things is enough to make you want to pull your hair out when something goes wrong. Add more than one and you have a recipe for one hectic time. This is why we know that you can benefit from our help.

If you have extra fat in your stomach area that you want gone, call 8008-THIN-YOU as soon as possible. Mood and Weight Loss

Mood and Weight Loss

Have you ever happened to notice that when you’re angry or upset, your dietary habits seem to change? Some people eat more, some people eat less, and some people just eat poorly. It is fairly common to see someone going through any period of high emotion make a few changes to their diet, even if it's unintentional. Personally, I tend to eat less when I’m upset or stressed and a healthy amount when I’m happy and relaxed. While this does mean that my weight will normally go down if I am dealing with something upsetting, it doesn’t mean that it’s a good reason for me to lose weight. In fact, it can be an unhealthy method of weight loss, even though it is unintentional.

It has been shown time and time again through scientific studies that a person’s mental health can affect their weight and vice versa. Things like depression can look so different from one person to the next. For some people, depression is laying in bed and not being able to do daily tasks such as getting into the shower or brushing their teeth. For others, depression may show up as comedy and smiles to the point where it doesn’t appear that they have any mental health issues at all. You can simply look at some of the celebrities that we have lost to suicide to see that there is a clear difference in how it manifests. This is no different from how it physically shows up. For some, mental health issues mean that someone appears to be overweight while others may be dangerously skinny.

On a smaller scale, you might find that your mood from day to day changes what you eat and how much of it you eat. While this normally isn’t a big deal, it is something to keep an eye on to make sure it doesn’t turn into a dangerous habit of either undereating or overeating. Naturally, neither are good and it is important to keep note of. While those of us here at CoolSculpting by ThinSculpting do help people get rid of problem areas, we also realize that the person is what's important. We know that looking better can help you feel better, so you can always call us to set up an appointment for us to help you with things like extra stomach fat. Let us help you find the thin that is in you!

Self Esteem and Weight

Self Esteem and Weight

We see it time and time again: people base at least part of their self worth on their weight. Whether or not this should happen, it is a fact of today’s society that many people, especially women, feel a direct causation between their worth as a human and the number that they see on the scale. Having your self esteem based so heavily on just one thing is never healthy regardless of what that specific thing is, but this is especially true when it is something that can change as much and as rapidly as your weight can. Anything can change it, especially in periods of sickness or heavy stress. While we wish that more people could see how incredible they are for their personality and everything they do for those around them, sometimes it helps to change how someone sees themselves physically before a mental shift can occur.

Here at ThinSculpting, we understand just how much weight and body shape are tied to how you feel about yourself. A large number of people have experienced some form of hostility or bullying based on their weight and regardless of how well someone seems to take nasty names, they still often hurt. This is especially true if the rude comments take place over an extended period of time or if they come from someone close. Weight seems to be an easy target for many people, but commenting about it negatively can have a lasting impact. It can and does cause a major self esteem issue and while we know that we can’t always help prevent that, we do pride ourselves on being able to physically give back at least a little bit of that self worth when you look in a mirror after a CoolSculpting session.

If you want to feel better about your body and how you look, start by calling 800-8THIN-YOU today and speaking with one of our certified CoolSculpting technicians. We have the only Diamond Rated CoolSculpting facility in the Triangle Region, so you know you are in good hands the second you walk through the doors of any of our locations, be it Raleigh, Durham, or Cary. When you come in, you can rest assured that we will see how wonderful you are and do our best to show you as well. If you let us, we will help you find the beauty, and thin, that is in you!

Mental Health and Weight

Mental Health and Weight

Time and time again, we see that the way we perceive ourselves has a direct impact on our mental health. This is never more true than when we talk about weight. Weight is a touchy subject for many people, and it is often tied to self-worth and self-confidence. This is one of the reasons why eating disorders are taken so seriously. When you have someone who is either eating too little, too much, or regurgitating their food, it can cause some serious problems both physically and mentally. Too often we find that people start to obsess over the number on a scale, to the point where it becomes dangerous.

Getting someone the proper help when it comes to eating disorders is extremely important. Although you love the person, it is important to remember that we have trained professionals for a reason. Making sure that someone who has an eating disorder has access to the resources they need to recover is something that cannot be understated. The difference that professional help can make is, in many cases, literally the difference between life and death.

Even if you don’t know anyone who has an eating disorder, someone you care for may still be having mental health issues related to their weight. Whether the problems stem directly from a dislike of their body or if the weight is a side effect of their mental illness, the two are often tied. With disorders such as depression, a person may stop taking an interest in how they look from day to day, especially if they are spending a lot of time in their own house. It isn’t abnormal for people with depression, anxiety, or other stress related issues to eat poorly. This can be eating too much, not at all, or not in a healthy way. In cases like these, you need to treat the mental illness before the habits and actions will get any better.

If you or someone you love is having issues with their weight and you believe that mental health is involved, it is important that you call a professional. While we are not able to help the mental health aspect, we can help people look better and see if it helps. The main thing to remember is that telling someone that they need to lose weight isn’t a solution. Someone’s mental health is worth more than a number, so always seek professional help if you think there may be an issue.
